TikTok Introduces Instant Pages

Can you believe that February has already come and gone? This month has been a particularly exciting one, with so many new trends and platform innovations happening in the industry (hello, Search Ads 360 and TikTok Instant Pages!).

Many of our clients achieved huge milestones this past month, including launching new collections (we're looking at you, Lindsay Albanese x L*SPACE) and executing another successful round of Palmer's TikTok creators for Jar 101 and Swivel Stick. To top it all off, Palmer's TikTok ads are #trending and 13 (!!) of them have been recognized as top skincare ads in the US right now. This one is our personal fav, so naturally we have had that song stuck in our heads all month long!

Already have an organic presence on TikTok? Or still figuring out if it's the right fit for your brand? Either way, we definitely suggest checking out the TikTok Creative Center to see top-performing ads in your industry. Be sure to use the filters and sort feature to gather relevant inspiration and insights. Shoot us an email if something catches your eye or sparks an idea, we'd love to set up a call to discuss further!

All of that being said, it's safe to say that things have been quite busy around here - and we bet the same is true for you. That is why we put together this newsletter, so you can leave the industry research to us and have one less thing on your to-do list.

So without further ado, here's the Blosm Brief:

  1. TikTok introduces Instant Pages: Looking for a lightening fast mobile UX that loads up to 11x faster than standard web and yields up to 40% lower CPAs?! Similar to Facebook Instant Experiences (think: Collection ads), TikTok Instant Pages are an in-app UX that allows users to reach your landing page without ever leaving the app. This has the potential to significantly improve the platform’s conversion power, which historically has not been up to par with legacy ad platforms Meta and Google, due to its mobile-only presence. This will be huge for brands focusing on Amazon conversions, because you can optimize to link clicks in order to find the most qualified customers.

  2. Lindsay Albanese launches new collection with L*SPACE: We’re so excited about this collaboration between our long-time client, Lindsay Albanese, and fave swimwear brand L*SPACE! This 3-piece collection combines style and function in a way you’ve never seen before. The collection includes a wide brimmed hat, canvas tote bag with removable cooler (um, genius?!) and Lindsay’s patented invention, the TOPTOTE hat-h0lder.

  3. Subscriptions will be the secret to success in 2023: By 2023, 75% of businesses that sell DTC will offer subscriptions (source: Shopify). Get ahead of the trend by adding a ‘subscribe & save’ option to your PDPs. Include special perks like free shipping, automatic discounts, GWPs included with every nth order, and so no. Think a subscription is not the right fit for your strategy? You may be right if your products are mostly one-time purchases (think: engagement rings). In that case, try a complementary product or membership option to provide incremental value and recurring revenue post-sale (ie: jewelry cleaner or exclusive members’ only pricing).

  4. Blosm Brands now offers Amazon Advertising: Amazon is by far the largest US e-commerce player, now with a total market share of over 40% (source: Forbes). In the wake of Apple’s iOS 14 privacy changes, we have increasingly prioritized Amazon advertising this past year and our clients have seen excellent results. Which is why we are excited to make it official and formally announce that Blosm Brands will now offer Amazon advertising to all clients in 2022. Want to learn more? Simply email us at hello@blosmbrands.com and we’d be happy to discuss.
