Idea Pins are Making Waves on Pinterest

Notice anything different lately? The sun is shining, Friends & Family sales are happening, hemlines are getting shorter, and body products (like this Purbody scrub from Pursoma) are all the rage. Yup, that's right! Spring in the retail word has officially arrived.

A change in seasons always sparks a change in the media landscape. Consumers are packing away their winter coats and ditching their Dysons (yes, we said it). Because nothing says Spring like chic silhouettes (a la The Avenue) and perfectly tousled beach waves.

BTW - if you haven't hopped on the rice water hair care trend yet, you are missing out! More on that later.

This change in consumer demand signals to marketers that it's time to refresh creative, reimagine messaging strategies, and maybe even shift product focus (especially for those in apparel or beauty). With any new trend comes new opportunity and we are here to help you capitalize on that.

So without further ado, here's the Blosm Brief:

  1. Idea Pins are Making Waves on Pinterest: Idea Pins launches last year and we are seeing them gain traction across nearly every vertical (10x more views than traditional pins). We suggest repurposing your TikTok content as Idea Pins. Note, the paid version is rolling out soon—so this is a great time to test organically!

  2. New Client Alert: Welcome Inala by LaLa Anthony: Thrilled to share that we are welcoming a new client to the Blosm Brands portfolio: Inala by LaLa Anthony. Capitalizing on the popular TikTok trend, Inala is on a mission to boost hair health using rice water as its secret weapon! Click the link above to learn more about Inala—and be sure to check out their hero product, Power Power!

  3. Female Founders’ Day 2022 Event Recap: From Crypto, NFTs and Web 3.0 to building a dream team of angel investors—the Female Founder Collective covered it all at their annual Female Founders’ Day in Austin, TX. We are looking forward to putting some new tips we picked up at the event into practice with each of our clients!

  4. Don’t Sleep on TikTok Creators: Since TikTok launched their marketplace, finding creators that suit any target audience is easier than ever. Just last month, we wrapped a campaign for a client that drove 6M+ impressions from 8 creators alone. The CPM for these creators is more competitive than traditional Facebook Ads campaigns—would you believe us if we told you it landed under $1.50?! That’s over 1,500 eyeballs on your brand for less than the cost of a latte.
